The Muriwai Horse Riding tour goes along Muriwai Beach and through Woodhill Forest. We meet the horse riding groups – either About Riding or Muriwai Horse Treks – on the edge of Woodhill Forest and get on our horses. The ride goes down a sandy track to Muriwai Beach, along the beach and then up to Woodhill Forest, through part of the forest and finally back to the starting point.
The usual ride is for an hour but longer rides (2 hour, half day and full day) are available. Various times are available – usually mid to late afternoon.
