Poor Knights Diving

The Poor Knights Islands are an absolute must for scuba divers and snorkelers. Consistently ranked as the top dive spot in New Zealand and in the top 10 in the world, the Poor Knights Islands, which have been a marine reserve since 1981, offer exceptional underwater visibility and an amazing array of sea-life. Scuba diving, snorkelling and kayaking are all available.

Scuba divers can do 2 dives, while those who don’t hold a scuba diving qualification can do a Try Dive where they dive 1 to 1 with a dive professional from Tutukaka Dive Shop. Snorkellers and kayakers can do these activities throughout the time we are at the Poor Knights.
